Now check that the cables from the Sky or freesat box are tightly fitting into their sockets on the back of the television and on the back of the satellite box. They look like the picture belowĬheck that they are nice and tight by turning them clockwise When looking behind the satellite box the first thing to do is check the screw on F connections coming from the dish to the back of the Sky box or Freesat box. If you have checked everything outside, the problem could be inside behind the satellite box. It might have been cut while you were gardening or an animal could have chewed the cable. Check it, look down it and see if there are any joins. So if you think your dish is ok, the problem could be the cable coming from the dish to the Freesat or Sky box. To adjust it back you can call a satellite engineer If the dish on the outside of your house looks fine and not like the pictures above then maybe your dish could have moved out of alignment to the satellite signals, possibley due to strong winds.
